===============

Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu.

This took a while to write. Course, I had to rewrite the physics part, but wurf. It's worth it, though, because I have a small engine that I can recycle and grow, now. Yay vector algebra. Maybe I can add recursion, too, at some point. (If any balls in /this/ travel fast enough to merit such, though, let me know. ; )

Done as a school project. And for fun.

Flash CS3, Actionscript 3 (is kickass)

=========

For fun, put a generator somewhere, then stick a sphere exactly under the middle of it so the balls bounce straight up. It's tedius, but not hard. Then, stick a bunch of generators over that first one. Then where there are a lot of balls, stick another song sphere into the mass.

You can *= the awesomeness of this app by 1000 if you add percussive sounds to the mix.

If you have any other comments or concerns about it, feel free to voice them! Though they may not go into an update. If I even make one... >.>;

Well this is just about a perfect music maker if you ask me.

If you do make another one like this, maybe you can choose how fast the white balls go?

Eh heh... Yeah, I reeeeally need to fix that. For now, though, hover the mouse around the top of the screen, that should pop out a pallet of things you can drag out.

I must compliment this.
I really must

Not only this is indeed funny -you got me half an hour playing with the balls- but also very artistic. You combine space, color, kinesthetic and sound. This is very simple yet complex, good work!

Still need a few things, though. A visual cue for the pallet, for one. Then I could properly call it version 1 :)

Hmmm. Gotta put a visual cue there, then. Maybe the bottom of the pallet... I though it shew for a moment, but maybe it vanishes too quickly to be of any real use... Thanks!

Oh yes. The correct way, I forgot about that. <.< >.>; I was thinking about setting up a sort of kludged thing with PHP (Though I REALLY oughta ask before doing that...) using sqlite.

At least shared objects means you can keep collections on your own computer...

Seems like it'd be a fun if not entirely pointful exercise, anywho.

Actually, this one was, as it was for class work. The point being to make a fun thing that's got a good (that is, usable, simple, intuitive, which this fails a wee bit) interface. In my case I obsessed over the physics probably a bit more than I needed to... But hey, now I have the ground work to expand that. XML would be easy since AS3 (From ECMA..4?) has native syntax for it. (And regexes. <3 <3 <3 regex)

The PHP thing... Nah 8D Still fun, though. If it became popular, I'm sure the school server admin's 'd kill me .^.

You should make a way to save your animations and/or music. People could start competing over the best beat created with it.. It'd be the next Line-Rider. :B

Local saving would be easy, at least. I'd have to set up a server thing for people to share. Wonder if I can do that on the school server...

And Ah! Thanks for telling me about that! I guess I missed that. It works outside of the browser, but not in... Oops. Need to change that.

What do you think about it, over all? Other than the alt thing, anything that annoys?

o.O

That's weird. Is it opening with the right flash player? It uses actionscript 3, so flash player 9 is /required/. My older bro said the same thing happened to him with one of my other movies. I dunno why.

That sucks, because I think it plays better outside of the browser window. :\
