I. Really. Fucking. Hate. Them.
Stationary smileys are bad, yes, but animated take that bad and exponentiate it. They deserve to die. They all deserve to die.
Animated Avatars are almost as bad. Not quite, but very close.
The main reason I hate them is that they distract me from what I am trying to view.
The second is that I hate smilies, and animated ones are even worse. WHY the fuck would anyone want one.
